The front of the back protector is equipped with a zipper that makes putting it on easy. Injuries should be reduced in severity, but cannot be prevented entirely. Back protectors do not offer spinal protection or prevent injuries involving severe torsion, flexion, extensions, or crushing of the body.

The foam in this back protector is sensitive to temperature extremes. It may become brittle in low temperatures. Its protective value may be reduced if subjected to high temperatures. Any alteration, incorrect cleaning, or misuse may be detrimental to the performance of your back protector. The impact tests are under 900N.
Maintenance & Obsolescence
Frequent visual inspections should be made for obvious wear and tear, especially after an accident. A severe fall may result in some cell damage of the foam; obvious signs of this are reduced thickness of foam (dents) or a change in the feel of the foam. If in any doubt, the garment should be replaced. Under normal conditions, it is recommended that your back protector is replaced at least every five years.
